A Word from the youth pastor

     Hey you all I am so excited that you have checked out the GYM page..  I wanted to personally invite you and any of your friends down to Lake Placid Baptist Church for a rocken good time. Wherever you might be in your walk with the Lord we are ready to equip you and encourage you. I grew up in the state of WI where I would go through periods of feeling close to God and not. I could never figure out the whole Jesus thing and I was very confused about what he had to do with me. Then as a 19 year old electrician God lead Steve into my life and he explained the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that changed my life. I never knew that I was a sinner separated from God. That the choices that I made separated me from a relationship with Him and also eternity with Him. Steve taught me that the Bible says that we need to turn from our sins and trust in Jesus for eternal salvation and when that happens God chooses to put His Holy Spirit in us and call us His Children.
